"MJM Engines did an outstanding job on getting my 2007 GMC Envoy engine rebuilt and back on the road in a timely manner. "There are a bazillion very capable automotive shops in San Diego County but after some comprehensive research, I chose MJM Engines to rebuild the engine in my '64 Chevrolet C10 pickup. I was impressed with their operation; most notably their own in-house machine shop, skilled machinists and their remove & install services. “I rate MJM as honest with good workmanship. They work hard to please the customer. I took my 1964 Chrysler in and they rebuilt the engine. Great care was taken of the entire car while in their care. I am very happy with the over all experience. They will work with you and keep you in the loop. All machine work is done on sight except for turning crank bearings and the like. One man Roger does all the head work. He is easy to talk to and very informative. They clean, inspect and replace any worn part or any part you want replaced. Mike M is a gear head in the best possible sense of the concept. He had to scout up a lot of good replacement parts for this 50 year old MOPAR. Their price is very reasonable. “I was on a vacation to San Diego taking my wife and kids to camp at the beach . We were almost there when the motor in my truck started to knock . Not sure what to sine i was from Arizona I looked up on my phone and found this shop. I called them they told me i shouldn't run it anymore and have it towed in they gave me a number to a towing service. i brought it in they checked it i was very low on oil not sure why I checked before we left any why they removed the motor rebuilt it it needed a water pump and a radiator i told them i needed to get it back within five days so we could return home they got the job done in time and it runs great . they went far and beyond in my opinion.”
