Written Warranty
WARRANTY TERMS
WHAT'S COVERED
All parts and labor performed by MJM Engines are covered under our written warranty. This includes all machined components, replacement parts installed during the rebuild, and assembly workmanship.
KIND-FOR-KIND WORK
Our warranty applies to kind-for-kind engine rebuilds only — engines rebuilt to OEM specifications using equivalent replacement parts. Work outside original factory specifications is not covered.
WARRANTY PERIOD
Warranty terms are provided in writing at the time of job completion. Specific coverage periods vary by job scope. Ask us for details when you bring your engine in.
WHAT VOIDS THE WARRANTY
The warranty is voided by improper installation, failure to use the correct fluids or break-in procedures, overheating due to cooling system issues, modifications made after delivery, damage caused by external factors unrelated to the rebuild, or taking the vehicle to another shop for repairs related to the engine rebuild without prior authorization from MJM Engines.
CARRY-OUT ENGINE WORK
Warranty coverage on carry-out engine work (engines brought in by the customer) covers the machine work and assembly performed by MJM Engines. Proper installation and break-in remain the responsibility of the installer.
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
Call us directly at (760) 745-4104. Bring the engine or vehicle in so we can inspect the issue. We'll diagnose the problem and determine warranty coverage at no charge for the inspection.
EVERY JOB COMES WITH A WRITTEN WARRANTY
Ask us for specific terms when you bring your engine in. We'll put it in writing before we start.
